The season of the Davis Library.

The season of the Davis Library.

Here is a look at week two, how the time flew!

These workers are as fast as can be. The electric meter is installed, the foundation is insulated and filled in. Framing of the addition begins next week.

There will be some changes to the library's functionality this summer. Please, bear with the short term pain for the long term gain! Most of the books in the children's room will be going into storage this week. The walls in the children's room and the wall along the parking lot will be knocked out in the next week or two.

There is reserved shelving for the children's room for the time being.
Including titles in YA, Juvenile, Early Childhood, Poetry, Leveled Readers,
Board books, DVDs, NF-Art, World History and Eyewitnesses.
New titles will continue to be added.

A tremendous thank you for all of the help today! Lots of packing, schlepping, storing and organizing. It is much more fun with a group of folks. Stoddard is full of quite amazing people, who are willing to lend a hand for a good cause.

Ask and you shall receive!
We had no boxes and within one hour we had three different car fulls of boxes delivered. May seem like small potatoes to some, but in a rural town like Stoddard large stores are 30 minutes away!
